RKI failed error - Valor Soft Reset Terminal
Use this process to disable the KPN SIM and manually configure the correct APN settings. This ensures the terminal connects properly to the cellular network after a power cycle.
An RKI Failed error on a Valor terminal means the Remote Key Injection process was unsuccessful.

Note: Before proceeding, ensure ParamDownload is enabled on the Online Portal for that EPI. Otherwise, the terminal will display “Parameter Disabled” when reloading.
- Tap the Menu button ≡ (three lines), then select the Down Arrow followed by Host Utility.
- Enter the password (default = last 4 digits of the EPI), press the Down Arrow, and select Reset Terminal.
- Enter the Valor Master Password (82567729), tap OK, then choose Clear Database to complete the soft reset.
