CREDIT CARD SALE
  1. Enter the sale amount and press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Insert/Tap/Swipe the card (or key account if needed).
  4. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
MANUALLY KEYED IN SALE
  1. Enter the sale amount and press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Type the card number and press ENTER.
  4. Enter the expiration date (MMYY) and press ENTER.
  5. When asked if the card is present, select YES or NO.
  6. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  7. Enter the CVV2 and press ENTER (or press ENTER to skip if unavailable).
  8. If CVV2 was skipped, choose the reason: Want to bypass, Cannot read, or Does not exist.
  9. Enter the billing Street Address and press ENTER.
  10. Enter the billing ZIP code and press ENTER.
  11. The terminal prints while processing.
  12. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
EMV SALE (CHIP)
  1. Enter the sale amount and press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Insert the chip card (it will click into place). Do not remove until prompted.
  4. Wait while the terminal reads the card—do not remove.
  5. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  6. The terminal prints while processing.
  7. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
NFC SALE (TAP)
  1. Enter the sale amount and press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Hold the device near the terminal; wait for the audible alert.
  4. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
DEBIT SALE
  1. Toggle payment type to DEBIT, enter the amount, then press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Swipe the debit card.
  4. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  5. Enter the 4-digit PIN on the PIN pad and press ENTER.
  6. The terminal prints while processing.
  7. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
EBT SALE
  1. Toggle payment type to EBT, enter the amount, then press ENTER.
  2. Select the sale type: FoodStamp, CashBenefit, or Voucher.
  3. Swipe (or key) the card and press ENTER.
  4. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  5. Enter the 4-digit PIN on the PIN pad and press ENTER.
  6. The terminal prints while processing.
  7. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
FORCED SALE
  1. Set sale type to FORCED, enter the amount, then press ENTER.
  2. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  3. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  4. Enter the 6-digit Auth Code and press ENTER.
  5. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  6. The terminal prints while processing.
  7. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
VOID
  1. Press FUNC (top-right), then choose Void.
  2. Enter the Manager's Password.
  3. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  4. Enter the transaction number and press ENTER.
  5. Verify details; press ENTER to continue or CANCEL to exit.
  6. Confirm the void with ENTER (or CANCEL to abort).
  7. The terminal prints while processing.
  8. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
REFUND
  1. Press FUNC, select Return.
  2. Enter the Manager's Password.
  3. Select payment type: CREDIT, DEBIT, or EBT.
  4. Enter the return amount and press ENTER.
  5. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  6. If prompted, enter the Server ID and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  7. The terminal prints while processing.
  8. When prompted "Tear Slip → Press Any Key," press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
REPORTS
  1. Press FUNC, select Report.
  2. Enter the Manager's Password.
  3. The terminal prints the current batch report.
REPRINT
  1. Press FUNC, select Reprint.
  2. Choose Last Customer Receipt or Any Receipt.
  3. Select payment type, enter the transaction number, and press ENTER.
  4. Choose copy: Customer or Merchant.
SETTLEMENT
  1. Press FUNC, select Batch.
  2. Choose Batch Close, then press ENTER to close current batch.
  3. If prompted Close W/Untipped, press ENTER to continue, or CANCEL to add tips first. Restaurant only.
  4. The terminal closes the batch and prints the final report.
ADDING A TIP (CREDIT)
  1. Press FUNC, open Tip Menu.
  2. Select By Trans.#.
  3. Enter the transaction number and press ENTER.
  4. Verify details; press ENTER to continue.
  5. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER.
  6. Confirm with ENTER (or CANCEL to go back). The new total displays, then returns to the search screen.
GIFT: REDEEM
  1. Set sale type to GIFT and choose REDEEM.
  2. Enter the amount and press ENTER.
  3. (If applicable) enter tip and press ENTER. Restaurant only.
  4. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: ACTIVATE
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose ACTIVATE.
  2. Enter the load amount and press ENTER.
  3. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  4. The terminal prints while processing.
  5. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: ADD VALUE
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose ADD VALUE.
  2. Enter the add amount and press ENTER.
  3. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  4. The terminal prints while processing.
  5. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: VOID
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose VOID, press ENTER.
  2. Enter the transaction number and press ENTER.
  3. Verify details; press ENTER to continue or CANCEL to exit.
  4. The terminal prints while processing.
  5. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: BALANCE INQUIRY
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose BALANCE INQ, press ENTER.
  2. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  3. The terminal prints the balance receipt.
GIFT: DEACTIVATE
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose DEACTIVATE, press ENTER.
  2. Confirm deactivation with ENTER.
  3. Swipe or key the card, then press ENTER.
  4. The terminal prints while processing.
GIFT: BALANCE TRANSFER
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose BALANCE TRANS.
  2. Enter the transfer amount and press ENTER.
  3. Swipe/key the old card, then press ENTER.
  4. Swipe/key the new card, then press ENTER.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: RE-ISSUE
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose RE-ISSUE.
  2. Enter the reissue amount and press ENTER.
  3. Swipe/key the old card, then press ENTER.
  4. Swipe/key the new card, then press ENTER.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
GIFT: ADDING A TIP
  1. Set sale type to GIFT, choose ADD TIP, press ENTER.
  2. Enter the transaction number and press ENTER.
  3. Verify details; press ENTER to continue.
  4. Enter the tip amount and press ENTER.
  5. The terminal prints while processing.
  6. Press ENTER for a customer copy or CANCEL to return home.
IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Manager's Password is today's date in MMDDYYYY format. Example: Jan 1, 2015 → 01012015.
