PAX A800: How to Install a SIM Card

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the SIM Card Compartment

    1. Locate the SIM compartment on the device.

    2. Gently lift the compartment lid by pulling it upward.

2. Unlock the SIM Card Tray

    1. You will see a small sliding SIM tray.

    2. Slide the tray to the left to release the lock.

    3. Once unlocked, lift the tray upward to open it.

3. Prepare the SIM Card

    1. Remove the SIM card from its full-size holder so only the nano-SIM portion remains.

    2. Ensure the notched (indented) corner is positioned correctly — it should be on the bottom-left when inserting.

4. Insert the SIM Card

    1. Place the SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing downward.

    2. Make sure it rests flat and snug inside the tray.

5. Lock the SIM Tray

    1. Push the tray back down to close it.

    2. Press and slide the tray to the right to lock it into place.

    3. Confirm the tray is secured and fully closed.

  • Ensure the device is powered off before inserting or removing the SIM card.

  • If the device does not recognize the SIM after installation, restart the terminal and verify the tray is fully locked.
