Manually Setting Date & Time on PAX A-Series Devices

Keeping the correct date and time on your PAX A-Series terminal is essential for accurate processing, secure communication, and reliable reporting. Follow the steps below to manually update these settings.

Ensuring the terminal has the correct date and time helps prevent transaction failures, certificate or security errors, network communication issues, and reporting discrepancies. Accurate timekeeping supports smooth device operation and reduces the likelihood of avoidable troubleshooting problems.

 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Android Settings
    From the terminal’s home screen, tap the settings
  2. Enter Password
    When prompted, enter one of the following passwords:
    • pax9876@@ or 9876
  3. Navigate to Date & Time
    Scroll to find and select “Date & Time.”
  4. Manually Adjust Date and Time
    Update the device’s date, time, and time zone as needed.
  5. Return to Home Screen

Tap the circle icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the main home screen.
