How to Perform a Valor EPI Switch

This guide walks you through switching the EPI on the Valor terminal interface.

Steps to Switch the EPI

  1. Tap the Yellow Star Button on Screen #6

    • Navigate to screen #6 on the Valor terminal interface.

    • Press the yellow button with the star icon to begin the EPI switch process.

  2. Enter the Desired EPI Number

    • When prompted, press the green button to enter the desired EPI number.

    • Carefully input the correct number assigned to the merchant or account.

  3. Confirmation

    • Once the EPI number is entered, the change will be saved automatically.

    • You should see a confirmation that the EPI switch is complete.

Note:
If the terminal does not respond or you encounter an error, restart the terminal and repeat the steps. Also, ensure you have the correct EPI number before initiating the switch to avoid any processing issues.
