Fix an Authentication Error when Connecting a Valor Terminal to Wi-Fi?
When attempting to connect a Valor terminal to a Wi-Fi network, an “Authentication Error” may appear. This typically occurs when the Wi-Fi password entered is incorrect.
- Access the Utility Menu
- From the main screen, navigate to the three lines [≡] at the bottom of the screen.
- Press the 🡇 down arrow until you reach Utility, then select it.
- When prompted, enter the password (last 4 digits of the EPI shown on the terminal’s screen).
- Navigate to Wi-Fi Settings
- Select the appropriate Wi-Fi network.
- Tap Forget Network if it was previously saved.
- Reconnect to the network by entering the correct password.

Upper/lowercase letters

Once connected, confirm the 📶 Wi-Fi signal strength is stable.
