Change APN / SIM Card Settings?

If the device is not connecting properly, updating the APN (Access Point Name) settings may resolve the issue.

Follow the instructions below to manually enter the correct APN for the SIM card.

  1. Access the Admin Panel
    From the Home Screen, tap the star (★) icon at the bottom-left of the touchscreen.

  2. Enter Access Code
    Press 7 on the number pad.

  3. Navigate to Network Settings
    Press the number 2 on the keypad four times (2, 2, 2, 2).

  4. Clear the Existing APN
    Press the Yellow button repeatedly until the APN field is empty.

  5. Enter New APN
    Type in the APN using the keypad:
    optconnect01.com.attz

  6. Confirm Entry
    Press the Green OK button to save the new APN.

  7. Connect to Network

    1. Press the Red X once to return to the GPRS menu.

    2. Press 1 to begin connecting.

  8. Force Retry (if needed)
    The terminal attempts to connect up to four times.

    1. You can skip failed attempts 1, 2, and 3 by pressing the Red X after each.

    2. The connection typically succeeds on the 4th attempt.

⚠️ Notes:
  • Double-check the APN spelling—typos will cause connection failure.
  • If the 4th retry fails, ensure the SIM card is active and supports data.
