How do I update a Valor Terminal?

Standard Valor Terminals (Non-VL550)

To perform an update on your Valor terminal:

1. Return to the Main Screen
   Tap the red “X” button several times until you reach the main screen.

2. Access the Update Menu

   • Tap the star icon (★) on the touchscreen.

   • Enter the number 6 on the keypad.

   • Press Enter to confirm.

3. Initiate the Update
   The terminal will automatically begin downloading and installing the update. Please allow a few moments for the process to complete.

Updating the VL550 Terminal

For the VL550 model:

1. Tap the (≡) three-line menu icon on the screen.

2. Select the Update option from the menu.

The device will proceed to update itself, ensuring it's running the latest software version.
