Manually configure APN on Cellular VL500

This article provides step-by-step instructions for configuring APN settings on the terminal.

Configure APN Settings

  1. Select the Menu button (☰), then choose Settings⚙️.

  2. Tap SIM Config, followed by Cellular Networks 📶.

  3. Select Access Point Names.

  4. Tap the + button to add a new APN, then select the Vertical Ellipsis (⋮) and choose Save  to complete the setup.

Test Connectivity Confirm communication
  • Perform a test transaction or network diagnostic.
  • If issues persist, switch between cellular data and Wi-Fi (if available).
Reinsert or Replace SIM Card Rule out SIM issues
  • Power off the terminal and remove the SIM card.
  • Reinsert it securely and restart the terminal.
  • If the issue continues, test with a known working SIM card.
