Disable or Lower Volume for VL500 | VL550 | VP500 | VP550

This procedure provides step-by-step instructions for disabling or adjusting the terminal sound settings on Valor VL500, VL550, VP500, and VP550 models.

Procedure 

  1. Tap the ≡ (three lines) icon located at the bottom of the terminal screen. 
  2. Select the Main Menu. 
  3. Tap Settings. 
  4. Choose Utility. 
  5. To disable all sounds, toggle Disable Sound to ON. 
  6. To lower the volume instead, adjust the Volume Level Slider to the desired setting. 

Notes 

  • Disabling sound will mute all device alerts and notifications. 
  • Volume adjustments take effect immediately without requiring a restart.
