Dejavoo QD File Build Tips

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for building and configuring Dejavoo QD files, including TPN creation, receipt formatting, cashback setup, pin-pad registration, and eGift configuration. 

This article covers the following topics:

Creating TPNs 

TPNs must always be 12 digits. 

Account Type TPN Rule
FDO Accounts Use the last 9 digits of the MID, followed by 001, 002, 003, etc.
Nuvei & TSYS Accounts Use the last 9 digits of the MID, followed by 001, 002, 003, etc.
Mainstream TSYS Accounts MID is only 8 digits.
Add a 0 in front of the MID to create a 9-digit base.
Then append 001, 002, 003, etc.

First Tab- Core CP 

  • Delete the Logo Display Image. 

This allows the terminal to load directly to the Sale screen, bypassing the Dejavoo logo screen and reducing one step for the merchant.

Common Settings 

Item Details
TSYS Files MID must be entered here.
Merchant State must be abbreviated (e.g., NJ instead of New Jersey).
Omaha Files No MID entry required.
KMS Settings 1 = Pin pad enabled
2 = No pin pad
Prompt Commercial Cards: OFF

Restaurant Tip Settings 

To configure tip behavior, go to Add Parameters → Common → Tip Mode:

Custom Settings 

To make receipt shorter: 

  • Set Header Lines: 4 
  • Set Trailer Lines: (Adjust as needed) 
  • Add the required receipt-length parameters and set them to OFF. Custom Settings

Cashback 

If pin debit is enabled and cashback is requested: 

  • Enter the cashback limit here. 
  • 2000 = $20 limit 
  • 30000 = $300 limit 

Dual Pricing 

If Dual Pricing, add the following parameters in under custom:

    Enable Dual Pricing within these settings. 

    Turn OFF: 

    • Allow Partial Approvals 

     

    PIN Pad & Signature Registration 

    If a pin pad is being used: 
    Devices_Required_EXT_PIN_Pad → Dejavoo 

    Signature Settings 

    • Devices_Required_SignaturePad = No → Signature captured on screen 
    • Devices_Required_SignaturePad = Yes → Signature captured on receipt 

     

    TSYS / FDO Configuration 

    Item Details
    TSYS Files Ensure all information from the VAR sheet is entered.
    Omaha Files Enter MID and Device ID twice as required.

    E gift Solutions on Dejavoo 

    Item Details
    MID First 7 digits of the eGift MID
    Location ID Last 4 digits of the eGift MID
    TID Construction First 7 digits of eGift MID
    Last 4 digits of Location ID
    Add 0001, 0002, 0003, etc.
    Notes Three TIDs are provided automatically.

    Dejavoo Marketplace 

    Passcodes: 

    • 1111 
    • 1379
